Thin privilege is not having to listen to people discuss how “weird” it is that a long time ago, your body type used to be considered beautiful.

Thin privilege is not being told “we have really great accessories” by a store clerk when you walk in.
When I ask what size a store carries and they don’t carry my size, I generally hear “We have larger sizes online!” To this I always answer “I don’t buy from stores who want my money, but don’t want me to be seen buying from them.” I generally get a disgusted “you can’t afford to be picky” look.
Thin privilege is being able to really choose who you buy clothes from and why.

They say less is more (I usually feel that more is more, but I digress…), so this is my attempt to experience how less exactly is more… While I pared down my typical piles of bangles and rings, and trekked outside sans shoes (Shoeless! What?), I did accessorize my outfit with *ahem* two big accessories…
So what do you think? Is less really more? Or do you prefer my jumbles of jewels, funky footwear and lotsa layers?
